We facilitate workshops during RIBA Stages 0-3 to document project team collaboration in maximising sustainability outcomes. Workshops are bespoke, commonly including setting of materials efficiency targets, identification of climate change risks and adaptation solutions and exploration of ideas around disassembly and adaptability. 

Every project we deliver is led or supported by a qualified BREEAM AP. This pivotal role ensures your project achieves the highest performance against BREEAM criteria at all critical stages. With involvement from Concept Design through to Construction, Handover, and Close Out, our APs collaborate with project teams to align BREEAM issues, monitor progress, identify risks, and ensure compliance. They coordinate the generation of robust evidence and conduct site visits at key milestones to verify compliance and address risks proactively.

We optimise natural daylight to improve occupant health, wellbeing and productivity while reducing energy use and environmental impact, through daylight calculations and view out analysis.

We ensure comfortable indoor temperatures can be maintained year-round, accounting for future climate scenarios, through thermal comfort analysis. Recommendations influence design decisions to enhance comfort, health and building resilience. 

Using modelled data, we advise the minimisation of energy demand, primary energy consumption and CO2 emissions.  We also offer air tightness testing to demonstrate built performance in the EPC. 

Using detailed modelling, we predict operational energy consumption to develop strategies that reduce energy demand and carbon emissions during building use. 

We recommend passive design measures that lower energy use and carbon emissions, delivering long term cost-effective and sustainable solutions. 

We assess and recommend the most sustainable low and zero carbon technologies to maximise financial and environmental benefits. 

We enhance whole life value by informing design improvements that account for long-term operational and maintenance efficiencies. 

Our assessments identify materials with high environmental impacts and provide recommendations for lower-impact alternatives, reducing embodied carbon and improving sustainability outcomes.  

We develop easy-to-read building user guides that allow facilities managers and building users to better understand the functionality of the building, during use, and how to ensure it performs at optimum levels. 

We assess building performance in use, gathering data on energy consumption, occupant satisfaction, and operational effectiveness to inform improvements to occupant satisfaction, asset value and future projects. 

We create site-specific sustainable procurement plans to guide material and product selection that minimises environmental, social and economic impacts across supply chains.
