Demonstrate your building's energy performance.
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is a document that rates the energy efficiency and environmental impact of a building. EPC certificates are mandatory for domestic and non-domestic properties when marketed for sale or rent, and for buildings under construction. They are also a possible requirement when major renovations are undertaken.  Â
Based on a building’s energy consumption and carbon emissions, we will use SAP (Standard Assessment Procedure) for domestic and SBEM (Simplified Building Energy Model) for non-domestic calculations to assess how efficiently a building uses energy and the environmental impact of that energy use, helping to generate an EPC rating that reflects its overall energy performance and provides recommendations for improvement.Â
Our dedicated team will ensure your property meets EPC requirements for sale, rent, or renovation with ease. We provide in-depth evaluations of your property’s energy use.
We offer a multidisciplinary approach, providing a one-stop solution that minimises project complexity, streamlines deliverables, and ensures robust and coordinated sustainability outcomes.Â
Each EPC will provide recommendation as to how to enhance your property’s energy efficiency and help reduce utility costs. Â
Assessments are carried out by our expert assessors who will ensure they are accurate and truly reflect the correct EPC rating. Â
Our experienced energy assessors will conduct thorough assessments of your property, covering essential metrics such as heating efficiency, insulation quality, and energy use, which is useful further down the line for occupants, renters or potential buyers.Â
Through these assessments AES will not only deliver an EPC rating but will also provide a thorough understanding of energy use and associated carbon emissions and help you identify opportunities for energy performance improvements.Â
