This multi-phased mixed-use development, consisting of 1600 units, had site-wide targets of at least 10% carbon savings from renewables and/or low-zero carbon energy technologies. | We ensured that energy and sustainability targets were met cost effectively, and all Code for Sustainable Homes and BREEAM requirements were also met. | Identified all CSH and BREEAM credits early in the design process. Gained compliance cost effectively. |

Centenary Quay is a multi-phased development consisting of 1600 units including residential dwellings and commercial units.
The development has mains gas and communal gas boilers serving residential and commercial units. The development has site-wide targets which were to provide at least 10% carbon savings from renewables and/or low-zero carbon energy technologies, as well as meeting all the requirements set by the Code for Sustainable Homes and BREEAM.
We worked across all phases of the development to ensure that energy and sustainability targets were met cost effectively. We proactively engaged with the design team to ensure that Code for Sustainable Homes and BREEAM credits were identified early in the design process ensuring that the most cost effective strategy was followed to gain compliance.
Identifying BREEAM and Code for Sustainable Homes credits early in the design process meant that we were able to gain compliance rapidly and cost-effectively, resulting in the success and smooth running of the project.
