Jon Ponting is a leading expert on the proposed Home Energy Model (HEM) and is working with industry leaders to advise the UK government as they prepare to introduce the 2025 Future Homes Standard through Approved Document L.

Since 2006, he’s supported builders and assessors through key milestones like the launch of EPCs and Approved Document O.

Jon is currently involved with testing HEM before it's official launch, which will replace SAP as the tool for Part L compliance. Known for his deep knowledge and clear, practical advice, Jon brings valuable insight to every conversation on energy efficiency and compliance.
