AES Sustainability would like to extend our thanks to Mike Leonard from Building Alliance for orchestrating an exciting workshop event and to NHBC for hosting.

The workshop was held on Wednesday 7th February 2024 and brought together a diverse array of industry experts, including representatives from HSE, the Government Departments for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC),  Energy and Net Zero.

The session proved to be immensely valuable as it facilitated collaborative feedback on the Future Homes Standard and Home Energy Model (HEM). Silvio Junges, Technical & Innovation Director at AES Sustainability provided a comprehensive update on the current response of the Building Alliance workgroup. Special thanks to Jon Ponting, Rachel Collins and Andy McManus for their dedication and hard work enhancing our understanding of HEM.
