Developed specifically for the residential sector, FireView provides a structured and intelligent approach to capturing photographic evidence and supporting documentation across low-rise, mid-rise and high-rise housing developments.
The launch builds on the success of AES Sustainability's award-winning SiteView module and represents the latest addition to the company's growing Hub ecosystem. FireView has been developed to simplify compliance processes, improve traceability and create a comprehensive digital record of fire safety measures before key elements of a building are concealed.
Unlike traditional systems that require extensive manual setup, FireView integrates with SAP assessment data already held within the AES Hub platform. This enables the system to automatically identify key project characteristics, including property type, construction method and plot configuration, removing the need for users to manually create plot information or input key project details. The result is a streamlined process that enables site teams to focus on capturing quality evidence rather than administration.
FireView has been designed around the way housebuilders operate on site, following extensive engagement with site managers and construction teams. The app guides users through the collection of photographic evidence at key construction stages, including superstructure, pre-plaster and final completion, ensuring critical fire protection measures are recorded at the appropriate time.
Typical records may include cavity barriers, fire stopping, service penetrations, compartmentation details and other passive fire protection measures that can become inaccessible as construction progresses.
In addition to photographic records, FireView includes an appendices function that enables users to upload supporting information such as product certification, commissioning certificates, installation records and specialist contractor documentation. All information is then consolidated into a single report, creating a complete and traceable audit trail for every property.
"As regulatory scrutiny continues to increase, housebuilders need robust and consistent ways of demonstrating that fire protection measures have been installed correctly and at the right stage of construction,” commented Silvio Junges, Director at AES Sustainability. “FireView has been developed to provide a practical, user-friendly solution that creates a comprehensive digital record throughout the build process."
"What makes FireView particularly powerful is its integration with existing SAP assessment data. Because the system already understands the characteristics of each plot, including house type and construction method, users don't need to manually create projects or input repetitive information. The platform intelligently presents the relevant inspection requirements, saving time while improving accuracy and consistency."
"We've worked closely with site managers and construction professionals to ensure FireView reflects real-world site processes. The result is a highly functional application that brings together photographs, certificates and supporting documentation into a single source of truth that can be accessed whenever it's needed."
The launch coincides with the rollout of Hub 2.0, which introduces enhanced functionality across the platform, including offline working capabilities for sites with limited connectivity. FireView has been fully integrated within the updated environment, providing a seamless user experience alongside existing modules.
FireView has also been designed with flexibility in mind. While the platform includes predefined fire safety inspection criteria, AES Sustainability’s works with individual customers to tailor requirements to their own standards, construction methods and reporting needs.
As an extension of the AES Hub platform, FireView complements SiteView and further strengthens AES Sustainability's vision of creating a fully integrated digital ecosystem for residential construction quality, compliance and building performance.
