AES Sustainability Consultants kicked off the “summer” in true British style with our annual Summer Social event in the beautiful (if slightly damp) Exmouth last Friday. Who said you need sunshine for a beach day?
Our team from across the UK (and beyond!) came together for a day of purpose and enjoyment.
We started with a beach clean, demonstrating our commitment to environmental responsibility right in our local community – and getting a free shower in the process!
After drying off over lunch, we participated in training sessions, followed by a comprehensive business update showcasing our achievements so far in 2024.
The day culminated in an evening cruise aboard the Pride of Exmouth. With the sea breeze (and occasional raindrop) in our hair, we enjoyed a BBQ dinner, lively conversation and even hit the dance floor!
Events like these reinforce the strong bonds within our team and reaffirm our shared commitment to sustainability – come rain or shine. We’re grateful for the dedication of our staff and the continued support of our valued clients and partners.
As we sail into the second half of 2024, AES is energised, slightly damp, but ready to take on new challenges.
